Anne-Marie Blackmore

Anne-Marie Blackmore

Anne-Marie has worked in fields of Business Management and Strategy for over 12 years in both Ghana and the UK. She additionally has expertise in Hospitality, Business Development, Project Management, and Brand Planning.

She worked in the Banking and Oil & Gas industries, where she drove critical projects to completion and coordinated the procurement of diverse equipment (MRO Supplies, Tools & Equipment for Floating Production) with reputable brands such as Eagle Burgmann and John Crane for leading Oil & Gas businesses on the Ghanaian market including MODEC, Yinson and SPIE.

Anne-Marie is also trained under USAID’s Feed the Future initiative (Africa Lead II) in Capacity building for African Agricultural Transformation and has extensive experience in Entrepreneurship and Agribusiness Development.

She holds a BSc. in Business Management from Ashesi University, Ghana.

Prof. Bernard K. Baiden

Prof. Bernard K. Baiden

PhD, FGIOC, MGhIS, MPMI, AMASCE

Prof. Baiden is a Construction Project Management Consultant and Professor of Construction Project Delivery with 30 years' industry experience in the management and delivery of Engineering Construction and Infrastructure projects. He has 26 years of research experience in construction project delivery.

He is a member of national and internationally recognized Engineering, Cost and Project Management professional bodies.

The total value of projects involved in, managed or controlled by him from 1994 to date is over US$200m, ranging from process plants, civil and building engineering works, health facilities and water infrastructure projects.

His capabilities are in Construction Project Management, Construction Works Supervision, Contracts Administration, Cost Estimating and Commercial Management.

Major projects completed by him include the management of US$7m water infrastructure system, management (feasibility studies through design to construction) of a US$8m medium rise 6,000m² office block with basement parking, design adoption to local conditions of a $25m 125-bed beach resort project. The latest completed large project was the management of a US$35m design and build aviation cargo terminal with associated offices and basement and ground car parking facilities at the Cargo Village, Kotoka International Airport, Accra.

He has a B.Sc. in Building Technology, MSc (Engineering) in Construction Management & Engineering and PhD in Construction Project Management that focused on the integration of construction project delivery teams for performance improvement on large Design & Build projects in the United Kingdom valued over £40 million.

He has University Headship and Administration experience at the Faculty, Departmental and Programme levels.

Prof. Baiden is the author of fifty-five (55) peer-reviewed international journal publications and conference proceedings on benchmarking, procurement, construction materials and project management. He was the Winner of 2008 Emerald Excellence Award for publication on Liquidated and Ascertained Damages (LAD) in Ghanaian Construction Contracts and 2018 on Financial Distress and Highway Infrastructure Delays.
